Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

A lot of customers are comfortable installing the Cyclone 866F on their own, especially with the assistance of our Pro-Install Kit.  But some customers prefer to pay a professional. That is why FreyMoto Industries is rolling out a new package deal that allows the customer to purchase professional installation and an motorcycle alarm system at one low price. Here is how the package deal works:

1) Call our toll free number and ask for the installation package deal. Give us your zip code, type of bike, give a list of appointment times that are convenient for you, and pay 269.99 plus shipping.

2) We contact one of our network installers in your area. We arrange an appointment time and location. Often times, the installer will come to your place of work or home to install the alarm system.

3) We ship the alarm system along with a check for pre-negotiated price directly to you.

4) You arrive for you scheduled appointment. After installation is completed to your satisfaction, you hand the installer the check you receive with your package.

This is the ultimate deal, because you not only get a low price on a Cyclone alarm system, you get a low price on the installation because we have negotiated the bottom dollar with installers ahead of time.  The bonus feature is that you are helping provide work for installers in a season of economic crunch. If you are interested in the package deal or have other questions please give us a call at 1-800-374-0933.

A Great Business Opportunity for Mobile Electronic Dealers & Installers

Sunday, August 10th, 2008

Most cars alarms are installed at mobile electronic installation shops by the request of the car owner or by installation companies that go directly to the car dealership and install the alarm on brand new cars before theyt are even sold. I recently read an article by Entrepreneur.com that discussed the booming market of installing car alarms and suggested car alarm installation as an excellent business venture. While the need for motorcycle alarms is just as great, most mobile electronic installation companies have not expanded their business model to include motorcycles and scooters despite the fact that motorcycle theft rates continue to climb year after year. Some motorcycles come standard with an immobilizer device, but most do not come off the showroom floor with any sort of alarm system.

I believe this is a market niche that most car alarm installations companies have not thought of. With tough economic times ahead, businesses that diversify will lessen the impact of a sales decline by finding more products to sell. Over the past few months, I have noticed that several car alarm installation companies have contacted us asking to sell Cyclone alarms. They explained that they have noticed more requests for motorcycle alarm installations and planned to make connections with local dealership to install Cyclone motorcycle alarms on the showroom floor bikes. Their plan was to utilize the same approach as they had with car alarms.

Because I believe this is an untapped niche for car alarm installers, I have decided to take an active approach to recruit private installers and mobile electronic installation companies. If you own or work at an car alarm installation business, or work as a private installer, I would love to speak with you about expanding your business to include motorcycle alarm sales and installation. We promise to offer you impressive profits on the sales of Cyclone motorcycle alarms. There are other perks to installating Cyclone alarms though. We assist all of our dealers and installers with technical support. We have bike specific schematics that outline the installation process and identify the color code wires you must connect to.

If you own a mobile electronics or car alarm installation company or even work for one, please contact me at sales@freymoto.com. I will send you our 2008 dealer pricing pdf. In an effort to assist you in your sales we will provide you with a 2 foot by 6 foot outdoor banner to let the community know your business now installs motorcycle alarm systems. Expand your car alarm installation business today by adding Cyclone Motorcycle Alarms to your sales and service. MOTORCYCLES OFFER A TEMPTING TARGET FOR CRIMINALS

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

A friend recently showed me a pamplet that is published by the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Here is a link to the pamplet if you want to check it out for yourself: https://www.nicb.org/cps/rde/xbcr/nicb/13734_Motorcycle_Eng.pdf

Here are the key points from the article:

  1. In the United States and Canada more than 30,000 motorcycles reported stolen each year.
  2. The recovery rate for stolen cars is about 65-70 percent.  The recovery rate for stolen motorcycles is about 25-30 percent. The reason: motorcycles are very easy to part out and dispose of quickly.
  3. 8 simple tips to prevent motorcycle theft.

Use common sense when parking your

motorcycle: Remove your keys and park

in well-lit areas.

• Lock your motorcycle, even when in

storage. Many motorcycle manufacturers

offer alarm systems similar to those for

automobiles.

• Be wary of used cycles titled or registered

as an “assembled vehicle.” If possible,

have your insurer inspect the cycle prior

to purchasing it.

• Verify that a previously driven cycle titled

and registered as a Harley-Davidson or

other popular brand name is not an

assembled clone made from aftermarket

components.

• Look closely at used cycles for a title

history that reveals numerous manufacturers’

statements of origin for major

component parts.

• Watch for cycles alleged to be “all

custom.” They could be assembled

from stolen or altered aftermarket parts,

especially chrome components.

• Be on the lookout for cycles or major

component parts that were allegedly

acquired at a “swap meet.”

• Obtain an expert appraisal and/or

insurance policy pre-inspection before

purchasing and insuring a used cycle.
